As an LVUSD teacher and the mother of both general and special education children, I will use my experience in the classroom, along with my experience as a parent in the district, to serve our community by supporting our families and teachers.

The issues that resonate most strongly with me include:

• Maintaining a strong curriculum that is practical, relevant, and prepares future generations for success.

• Supporting the use of technology as a tool to enhance education in a responsible, age-appropriate manner that encourages students to develop their own critical thinking and collaboration skills.

• Continuing our legacy of safety by protecting our schools through strong facilities, effective safety protocols, ongoing support for mental health awareness, and the promotion of positive school cultures.

• Working collaboratively with the district, teachers and staff to continue a longstanding tradition of trust, helping our district thrive while ensuring that funds are used responsibly and effectively to serve students and support educators.
